Network Equipment Sharing
I’ll also share the network equipment I use at home:
Previously shared on my blog, but some devices have been updated: https://blog.zeruns.com/archives/732.html
My network cabinet is located in a corner of the living room. Each network point in the house connects with a Cat-6A Ethernet cable and a single-mode dual-fiber optical fiber to this low-voltage distribution box (the TV location has two Ethernet cables: one for the TV and one for the IPTV box). The optical fiber is currently unused but may be utilized for upgrading to full 10Gbps in the future.
Outside the cabinet is a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) for network devices and surveillance cameras. Model: VISENCH BR1500CH. Purchase link: https://u.jd.com/G6Wr0V7
The devices in the cabinet from top to bottom are:
- Power strip: Demu PDU Cabinet Power Strip
- Hard disk recorder: TP-Link’s TL-NVR6108-L8P
- Second row, left: China Telecom’s 2.5G optical modem, model TEWA-1108V
- Second row, middle (white): Mobile’s optical modem, Gigabit H50G
- Second row, middle (black): iKuai’s IK-Q6000 wireless router (used for Mobile broadband dial-up)
- Second row, right (black): R86S 10Gbps Soft Router
- 8-port SFP+ 10Gbps switch: TL-ST5008F
- 2.5G PoE switch: TL-SE2109P
- 16-port 2.5G + 4 10Gbps switch: TL-SE2420
- Server: MECHREVO imini Pro820 Mini PC
- NAS: QNAP TS-466C
- UPS: Leader D1500 (for NAS)
- Bottom: HP server power supply for centralized 12V device power
The cables are a bit messy; I was too lazy to organize them.
Additionally, there are 8 iKuai wireless APs with models: IK-Q3600, IK-Q6000, IK-W35, IK-X9, TL-XDR6088 (this TP-Link device is flashed with iKuai firmware)
